The reason for the decrease of the efficiency of the double suction pump
1, due to the erosion of water flow, the water wall and impeller of the pump channel become rough and uneven. The friction coefficient of the pump flow path increases, and the flow rate of water in the pump is large, and the head loss is increased. The hydraulic efficiency is reduced.
2, due to the reasons in the pump before adding drugs or water, the serious fouling or corrosion of the pump shell. The fouling inside the pump casing can cause the shell thickness of the pump to increase by about 2ram, and the inner wall of the pump forms a scaling tumor, which reduces the volume of the pump body and reduces the pumping volume, and the flow path is rough, and the head loss is increased. Both efficiency and hydraulic efficiency are reduced.
3, because of the casting defects, cavitation, abrasion, corrosion and chemical etching caused by the pump processing technology, there are cavitation or cracks in the pump channel. Whirlpool is generated when the water flows, resulting in energy loss. The hydraulic efficiency is reduced.
4. The cavitation of the surface of the impeller. Because of the negative pressure during the running of the back surface of the blade, when the pressure is Pk<Pva, the cavitation and the honeycomb surface are produced, and the cavitation of the pump leaves is caused by the electrochemical corrosion.
5, volume loss and mechanical loss. Because the pump used for a long time, produce leakage and mechanical wear resistance increases, the volume efficiency and mechanical efficiency. The above reasons make the performance of the pump worse. The operation efficiency is reduced by 2 to 5%, and the efficiency of the pump can be reduced by more than 10%.
