The basic structure of the self-priming centrifugal pump consists of six parts: impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring and stuffing box.

1. The impeller is the core part of the self-priming centrifugal pump. It has a high speed, and the blade on the impeller plays a major role. The impeller should pass the static balance experiment before assembly. The inner and outer surfaces of the impeller are smooth to reduce the friction loss.

2. The pump body is also called the pump shell, which is the main body of the pump. To support the fixed function and connect to the bracket of the mounting bearing.

3. The function of the pump shaft is to connect the motor with the coupling of the coupling, and transfer the motor to the impeller, so it is the main part of the transmission of mechanical energy.

4. Bearing is a member of the pump shaft supported on the pump shaft. There are two kinds of rolling bearing and sliding bearing. The rolling bearing USES butter as lubricant to lubricate it properly, it is usually 2/3 ~ 3/4 volume too much heat, too little noise and heating! The sliding bearings are lubricated by transparent oil, and are filled to the oil level. Too much oil oozes out of the pump shaft and is cheap, too few bearings are too hot to burn and cause accidents! Bearing has the highest temperature in the process of pump working in 85 degrees generally run around 60 degrees, if the high will find reason (if there are impurities, oil is black, whether water) and processed in a timely manner!

5. The sealing ring is also called the leakage ring. The clearance between the impeller inlet and the pump shell causes the water in the high pressure zone in the pump to flow through the gap to the low pressure zone, affecting the pump's output and reducing the efficiency! Clearance too small can cause friction between impeller and pump shell. In order to increase the flow resistance reducing internal leakage and delay the service life of the impeller and the pump shell, the pump casing and impeller around the foreign aid junction with sealing ring, sealing gap in between 0.25 ~ 1.10 mm is advisable.

6. Stuffing box mainly consists of packing, water seal ring, stuffing box, packing gland and water seal. The main purpose of the stuffing box is to close the gap between the pump housing and the pump shaft so that the water in the pump does not flow outside and the air outside is not allowed to enter the pump. Always keep the vacuum in the pump! When the pump shaft and the packing friction generate heat, the water will be sealed by the water seal to keep the packing cool! Keep the pump running normally. Therefore, the inspection of the stuffing box during the running of the pump is particularly important! The packing should be replaced in about 600 hours.
