Comparison of energy consumption of cooling pump

Cooling water pump is the main energy consumption equipment of air conditioning system. With the change of cooling load of chiller, adjusting the cooling water flow is an important measure for energy saving operation of cooling water pump. At present, the flow of cooling water in the project is generally used to adjust the valve. In fact, most of the water is not adjusted, and the waste of energy is more serious. The variable frequency speed regulation of cooling water pump has increased some uncertain factors because of the operation of the chiller, the characteristics of the pipeline and the working condition of the cooling tower. Therefore, the energy saving of the cooling water pump is evaluated through the energy consumption analysis of the variable frequency speed regulation.

1. Comparison of energy consumption between cooling water pump and chilled water pump (hydraulic characteristics)
