Install and debug steps

High viscosity pump is a gear pump for conveying high viscosity liquid, and the maximum flow rate should be output under lower power consumption, less leakage and larger pressure. When determining the medium to be transported, we should strictly follow the instructions in the product instructions, try to use the fluid medium recommended by the manufacturer, and pay attention to the working temperature range of the system. The viscosity index of the conveying medium should be higher when it is hoped to be used in a wide range of temperature. Transport medium is not only the medium of energy transfer, but also the medium of lubrication, sealing and heat transfer. The liquid viscosity is too high will increase the internal friction resistance, reduce the output power, a waste of energy, and have a high temperature. The arrangement of the safety valve and other protective devices shall be the export of high viscosity gear pump pipeline, so that once the pump outlet channel clogging, you can open the safety valve pressure relief. For a high viscosity gear pump requiring positive and reversal, a safety valve should be set on the inlet and outlet lines.

1, the selection of work pressure

The rated pressure of the high viscosity pump is the maximum allowable pressure when the pump works continuously, and the working pressure is determined by the external load. The life of installation and commissioning is directly related to the working pressure. For the gear pump which does not work frequently, its working pressure is the rated pressure of the pump. Considering the difference of product quality, it is better to reduce the rated pressure by 20% to 30%. For a gear pump that often works under high pressure, its working pressure should be 1~2 lower than the rated pressure of the pump. Petrochemical equipment is often 24 hours of continuous operation, when the pump working pressure should be made much lower than the rated pressure, and working speed should be lower than the rated speed. If the pressure adjustment of the high viscosity gear pump is too high, the gear pump will run under overload.

2. installation and trial operation

The support or flange of the high viscosity pump should be installed on the common installation foundation with its driving motor. The foundation, flange or bearing must have enough rigidity to reduce the vibration and noise generated when the gear pump is running. The motor and gear pump must be connected with an elastic coupling, the coaxiality is less than 0.1 millimeters, and the inclined angle must not be more than 1 degrees. When the coupling is installed, the hammer should not be knocked with the hammer so as not to harm the gear and other parts of the gear pump. If the wheel and sprocket are used, the bracket should be supported to prevent the active gear bearing from being subjected to radial force. When fastening the ground screw of the gear pump and the motor, the screw should be loaded evenly and the connection is reliable. When turning the coupling with the hand, it should be felt that the gear pump can be rotated easily, and the abnormal phenomena such as tightness and so on appear, and then the pipe can be arranged. The diameter of the oil suction pipe of the high viscosity gear pump should be large enough, and avoid narrow passages or sharp corners, reduce elbow, remove unnecessary valves and accessories, reduce the installation height of the pump as much as possible, shorten the length of the suction pipeline, so as to reduce the pressure loss. The seal of the pipe joint and other components should be well sealed to prevent air intrusion and control the occurrence of cavitation and cavitation. Before the start of operation, the shell of the gear pump is filled with liquid to be conveyed so as to facilitate the safe start. If the temperature of the environment is lower than the freezing point, the heat steam should be put into the pump in advance for preheating treatment, and then the gear pump can be started. The rotation direction of the gear pump should be consistent with the inlet and outlet. Gear pump if the first run, or long-term idle before use, preferably in small load or no-load condition Xianpao one hours. If abnormal temperature rise, leakage, vibration and noise are detected in the running and closing stage, the machine is checked by the machine.

The safety valve and other protective devices should also be set on the outlet piping of the high viscosity pump. Once the outlet passageway of the pump is blocked, the relief valve can be opened. For a high viscosity gear pump requiring positive and reversal, a safety valve should be set on the inlet and outlet lines.
