In order to avoid the force and torque generated by pipeline and valve weight and thermal stress of the pipeline exceed the maximum allowable external load of the pump inlet and outlet, the pipe rack must be installed on the suction and discharge pipes of the pump. Pump outlet allows the maximum load by the pump manufacturer.
A vertical inlet or vertical outlet pump, in order to reduce the force acting on the pump port, must set up a pipe rack on the top of the pipe. The plane position should be as close as possible to the pipe orifice, and it can use the pipe gallery longitudinal beam to support the pipeline, so the pump is often placed under the pipe gallery.
In order to improve the suction performance of the pump, the suction pipeline should be shortened as much as possible, and the corners should be limited as little as possible. In order to prevent cavitation in the pump, the suction pipe should avoid accumulating the gasbag shape as far as possible. If it is not avoidable, the exhaust valve with DN15 or DN20 should be placed at the capsule part. When the suction pipe of the pump is vertical, if the tube is arranged on the suction pipe, the eccentric tube should be configured so as not to form the air bag.
If the conveying density is less than 650Kg, liquid, such as liquid, fossil oil and gas, liquid ammonia, etc., the suction pipe of the pump should have 1/10~1/100 slope to the pump, so that the gas generated by gasification can return to the suction tank to avoid cavitation.
At the inlet of a single suction pump, it is best to configure a straight pipe with a diameter of about 3 times the inlet diameter.
For double suction pump, in order to avoid the cavitation of two way suction horizontal centrifugal pump, the double suction pipe should be arranged symmetrically to ensure the uniform flow distribution on both sides. The vertical pipe is connected directly through the elbow, but the axis of the pump must be perpendicular to the plane where the elbow is located. At this time, the import piping requirements are as short as possible, the elbow is connected with the different diameter pipe and then the inlet flange. Under other conditions, there should be a straight pipe section not less than 3 times the diameter of the pump before the pump is imported.
The shutoff valve and check valve of the pump exit are cleaned with a discharge valve. When the diameter of the pipe is greater than DN50, the net valve can also be opened on the valve cover of the check valve. The same elevation is used as much as possible in the import and export valves of the same specification pump.
Non metal pump the weight of import and export pipeline valve must not be pressure on the pump body should be set up, pipe rack, pump and switching valve to prevent crushing when the twist valve before and after the pipeline.
The exhaust pipe line of the steam reciprocating pump should be less turning, the discharge pipe is set at the place where the condensing water may be accumulated, and the silencer should be installed with the large empty volume. The condensing water discharge pipe should be set before the intake valve to prevent the water hammer cylinder.
The steam reciprocating pump generally has a large vibration in operation, and the pipeline connected with the pump should be fixed well.
When the distance between the center outlet of the pump outlet and the center line of the pipe gallery is larger than 0.6m, the swing check valve on the outlet pipeline should be placed horizontally, so no valve should be installed on the valve cover at this time.
When the pipe rack is above the pump and motor, there is enough height for the pipe to be hoisted without affecting the lifting equipment. The pipeline should not be arranged to transport corrosive liquids on top of the driving device.
The net distance between the bottom of the pipe line and the floor of the pipeline should not be less than 4m to meet the requirements of maintenance.
When the pipe line is above the pump body, the height of the pipe bottom to the ground clearance should not be less than 2.2m.
