The series starting mode of the slurry pump can be divided into three kinds
Because the series slag slurry pump is used in long distance transportation, the pipeline is long, and these pipes are beginning to be empty. It can be considered that the resistance is 0.
If the system is started directly with a slurry pump, it will inevitably result in a large instantaneous flow rate due to the small resistance.
It causes the cavitation of the slurry pump and the overload of the motor, so the starting mode of the series slag slurry pump is critical.
In order to overcome the above problems, it is suggested that the clean water should be conveyed first before the slurry is conveyed, and the slag slurry is transported after the whole system is running normally.
There are several ways to launch clean water.
1, the slurry pump is in a static state, filling the whole line with clean water at the highest point of the inhalation system, and then starting the pump at the same time. This method is the simplest and most stable, but affected by the conditions of the system and the terrain.
2, by limiting the flow of the pump system to carry out the clean water perfusion, and then start up step by step, the flow rate is best controlled at about 25% of the rated traffic. Start the first stage pump, maintain the constant flow throughout the perfusion period, and start the rest of the pumps at all levels until the entire pipeline is filled.
3, when the request is started as soon as possible, the above two methods can not meet the requirements, the system needs to be analyzed and calculated to obtain the best start order and start time.
