How to design the sewage pumping station

1. sets of pool form

The collection pool of sewage pumping station has various forms, such as circular, semi-circular and rectangle. The open type should be used at the upper part, plus balustrades or short walls around it, plus ceiling or beam or hook to meet the requirements of suspended sludge or grid slag.

The principle of 2. sets of pool arrangement

The sump layout should be considered to improve the hydraulic condition water pump, reducing the viscous flow and vortex, in order to ensure the normal operation of the pump. The following points should be paid attention to in the arrangement.

(1) the water suction pipe or impeller of the sewage pump should have enough depth of water to prevent the air from inhaling or forming the swirl.

(2) the suction bell of the pump should be kept at the required distance from the bottom of the pool. Stainless steel self priming pump

(3) the water should be uniform and smooth flow of water without vortex pump suction pipe. The water flow conditions of each pump are basically the same, and the flow of water does not suddenly expand or change direction.

(4) the flow velocity at the inlet of the pool and the flow velocity at the suction port of the pump are as slow as possible.

The gate or sluice should be set before the pool of the sewage pump room to be used in the cleaning of the pool or the maintenance of the water pump.

3. set pool volume

The volume of the sump is related to the variation of the flow rate into the pump station, the type of the pump, the number of working tables and the working system, the operation nature of the pumping station and the starting time. Under the premise of meeting the requirements of installing grille and suction pipe, ensuring the hydraulic condition of the pump and draining the sewage in time, the pool should be as small as possible, and the layout of the pump room (machine room) should be as small as possible.

1. discharge pump unit layout

The number of units in the sewage pumping station is generally not more than 3~4 units.

In order to meet the safety protection and facilitate the maintenance of the unit, the layout of the main units in the pumping station and the width of the channel should be in accordance with the following conditions.

(1) the net distance between two adjacent units: when the capacity of the motor is less than 55kW, it must not be less than 0.8m; when the motor capacity is more than 55kW, it must not be less than 1.2m.

(2) the pump room without crane lifting equipment, usually on one side of each unit, should have a 0.5m channel larger than the width of the unit, but it should not be less than the first rule.

(3) the distance between the adjacent two generating units and the distance between the protruding part and the wall and the width of the main passageway of the pump room are the same as those of the water supply pumping station.

(4) in the pump room with a bridge type lifting equipment, there should be a passage for the lifting equipment.

(5) when we need to repair in the pump room, the location of the maintenance equipment should be kept. The area should be determined according to the size and size of the largest equipment (parts), and the channel with a width not less than 0.7m should be set around it.
