If the pump is connected with the suction pipe of other pump

Why must the pump install the reverse check valve?

The check valve is also called check valve. Its function is to prevent the flow of liquid back to the pump when the pump stops running, resulting in the reverse of the rotor, the damage to the equipment or the pressure drop of the pressure pipe line. In general, the valve is not installed on the suction pipe. But if the pump is connected with the suction pipe of other pumps or the pump is in the position of self flowing water filling, such as water pressure or suction surface is higher than the intake pipe, the inlet valve should be installed for the isolation during equipment maintenance.

The purpose of the check valve for the pump outlet is to allow the pump to send water outside rather than allow the reverse flow of the water return pump to prevent the pump from stopping suddenly. The reverse flow pump of high pressure water reverses the pump and causes the pump to turn back. Stainless steel chemical pump

The high pressure water at the outlet of the pump can be sent directly to the boiler, and it can also be sent to the pipe connected with the high pressure mother tube or to the high water tank. For some reason, when the pump suddenly stops running, the pressure in the pump disappears and the high pressure water connected to the pump outlet will reverse flow back to the pump. When the pump outlet is equipped with a check valve, it closes immediately to prevent the reverse flow pump of high pressure water. If the pump outlet does not install the reverse check valve, the high pressure water will reverse flow backwater pump, and the pump impeller will reverse under the impact of high pressure water. Due to the impact load of high pressure water, the impeller will cause loosening or damage to impeller or other components when severe load is applied, so that the water pressure of the main pipe will decrease and the water level of the boiler will decrease, which will affect the safe operation.
