An overview of self-priming pump for stainless steel

Design and structure characteristics of stainless steel sanitary self-priming pump

The stainless steel sanitary self-priming pump is a single level self-priming volume pump, which is composed of pump cover, impeller, pump body, motor and so on. The impeller is star shaped, and the pump cover pump body constitutes the cavity of the pump. When the impeller rotates in the inner cavity of the pump, the volume of the impeller spoke and the inner cavity gradually increases from the suction mouth to the discharge port, and the capacity gradually decreases. Therefore, the liquid contained in the impeller spoke can be a reciprocating action of suction and discharge, forming a certain self-priming ability. Contact with the material in the material selection of pump body, pump cover, impeller and other parts of the whole manufacture by AISI316 or AISI304 stainless steel. The mechanical shaft seal is made of high quality stainless steel and silicon carbide. It greatly improves the wear resistance and moistening type, and prolongs the service life.
