We know that in the type of screw pump, there are generally three kinds of G type single screw pump, double screw pump and three screw pump. The three kinds of screw pumps are different in four aspects, such as structure, characteristics, performance parameters and application situations. Among them, the G type single screw pump is the most representative, it is mainly composed of two parts, eccentric screw and fixed liner. It has the advantages of small size, compact structure, simple installation and maintenance, and so on. But the 5 reasons for the wear of the common G type single screw pump are as follows:

(1) in the compression and homogenization section, if the melting state of the plastic is disorganized, then the wear will occur, and the speed will speed up.

(2) if the speed is too high, then more broken fibers will be produced, which makes the wear worse.

(3) the gap between the screw and the cylinder increases gradually, making wear. And if the material stays in the barrel for a long time and contains polyethylene, it will cause corrosion.

(4) there is no filler in the material to speed up the wear.

(5) the rotating torque of the screw is increased and the strength limit of the screw is exceeded, which causes the screw to break.
