If the self-priming pump is used properly in the process of use, or the time of use is too long, it is unavoidable that some failures will occur, so what are the failures? How should the fault be solved?

Motor part

1. There is no reaction after the power supply is connected. Most of them are caused by the power plug, the lead wire of the power supply and the short circuit of the motor winding.

2, difficult to start or not start, and with “ buzzing ” sound. Maintenance when used by a small bamboo running direction to quickly toggle fan, if the motor to work quickly, that is the starting capacitor or the starting winding is damaged, should be replaced with the same capacity capacitor or repair the startup winding; if the motor card, multi motor and pump head mechanical faults, such as bearing damage, the death card etc..

3, the motor can run, but the speed is slow, and the shell is overheated, and it has the smell of burning. Most are caused by short circuit of motor winding, motor should be opened, depending on the damage by repair welding, jumper, isolation, rewind and other measures.

4, the noise is large and the vibration is great. The majority is in line with the bearing bearing and the casing damage or improper, need to open the motor to check if the bearing is damaged, should be replaced; if the bearing running round, the pump shell with the surface of the flower processing; if the bearing running in the round, the motor shaft wear parts of the flower processing, wear repair turning method after the serious surfacing.

Pump head part

1, the motor operates normally but has less water or no water at all. In this case, we should first check the seal of the pump. When checking, we should first unplug the power plug, block up the suction mouth by hand, fill the water pump with the mouth, hold the inlet with the mouth, blow it vigorously, and observe whether the pump head leaks, and the leakage is also the seal damage. The rare fault parts include the water suction pad, the outlet pad, the impeller cover pad, and the repair should be replaced. If there is no full water phenomenon, most of them are impeller damage, water retaining chamber and outlet chamber, internal water erosion and wear, pump head water retaining and grinding, and impeller and pump shell clearance increasing. Impeller and pump housing should be changed. Replacement: wheel should pay attention to completely remove the residual copper vane pump, so as to avoid further damage to the new impeller.

2. The shell is charged. Most of them are water seal damage. The insulation performance of the motor is deteriorated by the infiltration of the motor shaft into the motor. It can be repaired by replacing the water seal, drying the motor and so on. Attention should be paid to the deterioration of insulation performance due to the temporary contact with water and outdoor work due to moisture easily. In order to ensure personal safety, the electric self priming pump should be reliably grounded.
