A pump is a machine that conveyed a liquid or booster the liquid. It transmits the mechanical energy or other external energy of the original motive to the liquid to increase the energy of the liquid. Pumps are mainly used for transporting liquids such as water, oil, acid-base fluid, emulsion, suspending emulsion and liquid metal, and also transport liquids, gas mixtures and liquids containing suspended solids.
Self-priming pump installation process and precautions:
1. Make the foundation of concrete according to the base size, and bury the anchor bolt at the same time.
2, the self-priming pump and motor should be checked before installation. All parts should be intact. There should be no sundries in the self-priming pump.
3. On the basis of the unit, a pair of wedge mats is placed between the base plate and the base, and the level of the pump is found by adjusting the wedge. After adjusting, tighten the anchor bolts.
4. The suction and spit pipe of the self - sucking pump should have the support, which can not be supported by the pump. The diameter of the import and export pipeline should be unified with the inlet and outlet diameter of the pump.
5, the self suction pump installation should first connect the inlet pipe, fill the liquid and then connect the outlet pipe to correct the steering. The inlet pipe of the pump must match with the pump, and the total length should not exceed 5 meters, otherwise, it will affect the self suction performance. The self suction height can be simply calculated according to the formula on the right side: when the water is clean, the 3m/ density is the actual self suction height.
6. The installation is finished. Finally, the pump coupling is rotated with the hand to check if there is a phenomenon of rubbing and touching. The end of the installation is easy and uniform.
7, self suction magnetic pump is strictly prohibited to extract medium with easily crystallized particles. It is not allowed to operate continuously under the condition of closing the outlet, so it needs to maintain the minimum flow rate.
8, in order to prevent the inclusion of sundries into the self-priming pump, a filter should be set at the entrance. The area of the filter should be more than 3~4 times the section area of the pipe.
9, high lift self suction pump in the outlet pipeline should also be installed check valve, to prevent the sudden stop of water hammer damage.
10, it is necessary to ensure that the installation height of the self-priming pump conforms to the cavitation allowance of the pump, and the loss of the pipeline and the temperature of the medium must be considered.
11. When the temperature of the medium is too high, the cooling measures should be taken to prevent the deformation of the static ring.
12, when the viscosity of the medium is too high, the performance and power of the self-priming pump will change.
