The principle of self-priming pump is to fill the pump shell with water before the pump is started (or the water in the pump shell itself). After starting, the impeller rotates at high speed, so that the flow in the impeller channel is directed towards the vortex shell. When the inlet is formed, a vacuum is formed, so that the intake check door is opened, and the air in the suction pipe enters the pump and reaches the outer edge through the impeller channel.

Must open the discharge valve to start

The gas in the suction pipe of the self suction pump depends on the self suction pump starting after starting, so the valve must be opened to enable the gas to be discharged from the discharge port.
